Features
Whats new in Version 2.1.3

Windows XP/2000 version

Download version 2.1.3 for Windows with Java included (69.5 mb)
Download version 2.1.3 for Windows without Java
(50 mb)

Installation notes:

If you already have Java installed you can use the version of the player without Java (The latest version of either 1.4.2* or Java 1.5) If you don't have Java installed or if you're not sure, download the version with Java included.

After downloading, unzip the file. Launch the Player by double-clicking on the reload-ldplayer application file. You can add a shortcut link on your desktop if you like.

NOTE: When choosing a folder to install the software - make sure the folder path does not contain spaces.
The software (at this time) needs to be installed in a folder/path not containing any spaces, so...
C:\Program files\player = wouldn't work - theres a space in the path
C:\ldplayer\ = would work - no spaces in the path.

NOTE: The Player will only currently work with the most recent version of Java 1.5.x

Linux version (x86/GTK 2)

Download version 2.1.3 for Linux (50.2 mb)

Installation notes:

After downloading, extract the tar archive. Launch the Player by clicking on the reload-ldplayer application file.

You will need to have Java version 1.4.2 or later installed.

Note - the Reload user workspace location is set to user.home/reload/ldplayer-workspace.

Please note that the internal Browser (Mozilla) may not work on some Linux setups. In order to get this feature working, follow these instructions:

  1. Ensure that the "mozilla-browser" package is installed at /usr/lib/mozilla
  2. Add the line "export MOZILLA_FIVE_HOME=/usr/lib/mozilla" to the end of the file: /etc/environment

See this link for further information: http://www.eclipse.org/swt/faq.php#browserlinuxrcp

Macintosh version

Download version 2.1.3 for Apple Mac (50 mb)

Installation notes:

After downloading, extract the tar archive using Stuffit Expander or similar. Launch the Editor by clicking on the reload-ldplayer application file.
