For Developers
RELOAD is rapidly becoming the de facto suite of tools for viewing, editing and creating IMS and SCORM Content Packages. We are
constantly being informed of, and collaborating with, international
developments from such institutions as IMS, ADL, Collegis, Penn
State University, Utah State University, WebCT, Calgary University,
Heriot-Watt University, and other commercial companies. This is in part due to the Open Source nature of the software we produce. The RELOAD tools are released under the MIT License.
Visit our SourceForge site at http://sourceforge.net/projects/x4l-reload/ for Source Code, Project Status, Bug reports, Feature Requests, Forums and Developer
Resources.

HELP
We are developing our new applications to run as Eclipse 3.1 RCP applications for Windows, Linux and Mac. We've managed to get them working under Windows but have discovered a few OS-specific issues when running on Linux and Mac. Do you think you could help us? We need people who are conversant with Eclipse, Java, Linux and Mac Operating Systems. We'd like you to help us get these applications running properly on Linux and Mac. Can you do it? If so, please contact
Phillip
Beauvoir for more information.
Among those already contributing to the Reload code are:
- ADL, who have added support for SCORM v1.3 (see this presentation).
See the LSAL SCORM 2004 page to download.
- the creators of the Aloha Metadata Editor.
NB This software is not yet available.
- ICBL, who are working on the IMS VDEX specification. They have produced an informal report of their initial progress.
